This Music Distribution Policy outlines the terms, conditions, and ethical guidelines governing music distribution through our platform. Artists, labels, and distributors agree to abide by this policy by submitting music to us.

1. Submission Guidelines

To ensure smooth processing and high-quality distribution, all submissions must meet the following requirements:

  • Metadata:
    • Accurate and complete metadata is mandatory, including:
      • Artist name
      • Track Title
      • Genre
      • Release date
      • Composer and lyricist details
      • ISRC and UPCs (if applicable).
    • Incorrect metadata may result in rejection or delayed release.
  • Audio Requirements:
    • Format: WAV (44.1 kHz, 16-bit).
    • Free of excessive noise or poor-quality audio.
  • Cover Art:
    • It must be 3000×3000 pixels in JPG or JPEG format.
    • Content must be free from explicit or haram imagery, violence, or hateful symbols.
  • Licensing:
    • Cover songs must include proper licensing documentation.
    • Unauthorized samples, remixes, or music containing unlicensed elements are prohibited.

2. Content Guidelines

We prioritize ethical and value-driven content distribution. The following types of content will not be accepted:

  • Haram Content:
    • Music with vulgar, profane, or explicit lyrics.
    • Songs promoting or glorifying:
      • Alcohol, drugs, or substance abuse.
      • Gambling or immoral behavior.
      • Hate speech, violence, or discrimination.
    • Content contrary to Islamic principles or universal ethical standards.
  • Illegal Content:
    • Content infringing on copyright or intellectual property rights.
    • Material violating local or international laws.
  • Explicit Content:
    • Explicit songs must be flagged accordingly. Improperly flagged explicit content will be rejected.

3. Distribution Platforms

  • We distribute music to a wide array of platforms, including but not limited to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, and Vevo.
  • The timeline for release may vary by platform, with an average processing time of 3–10 business days.
  • Artists seeking premium platform placements (e.g., Vevo or curated playlists) may be subject to additional approvals or fees.

4. Rights and Ownership

  • Artists, labels, and creators retain full ownership of their music unless otherwise stated in a separate agreement.
  • By submitting music to us, you grant us a non-exclusive license to distribute your content to platforms and services.
  • The distributor reserves the right to remove content if it violates this policy or applicable laws.

5. Revenue and Payouts

  • Revenue from streams, sales, and royalties will be collected and disbursed as per the agreed schedule (monthly or quarterly).
  • Distribution fees:
    • A standard percentage (e.g., **%) is deducted as a service fee.
  • Payments are made to the artist/label’s designated account. Unclaimed funds may be forfeited after 12 months.
  • Revenue disputes must be reported within 30 days of receiving statements.

6. Claim Management

We assist with managing copyright claims and disputes across platforms:

  • Content ID Claims:
    • For YouTube, Facebook, and other services.
  • Takedown Requests:
    • Unauthorized use of your music will be addressed upon submission of proof of ownership.
  • Claims or takedowns must be accompanied by valid legal documentation.

7. Marketing and Promotion

  • Optional promotional services such as playlist placements, featured content, and social media campaigns are available.
  • Fees for promotional services are non-refundable and subject to the terms of individual agreements.

8. Termination and Removal

  • Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days written notice.
  • Upon termination, music will be removed from all platforms within 30 days unless otherwise requested.
  • Prepaid fees for distribution or promotional services are non-refundable.

9. Dispute Resolution

  • Disputes will be resolved under the governing laws applicable to our company.
  • Mediation or arbitration may be required before proceeding with legal action.
  • Disputes should be submitted in writing within 30 days of the issue.

10. Amendments

  • We reserve the right to amend this policy at any time.
  • Changes will be communicated in advance, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Ethical Standards

We are committed to supporting ethical and culturally respectful music distribution. All content must align with:

  • Applicable laws and regulations.
  • Our commitment to avoiding haram content and promoting positive, impactful music.
